Hello, this is your director of Public Works Tommy Cotter.  This message is going out to all the residents of Zone 2 for Recycling.  Zone 2 is from 16th to 32nd Streets. Due to the closure of the Recycling Collection Centers on Thursday for Thanksgiving, there will be NO recycling pick up this week, on Thursday November 25th, 2021 for Zone 2.  I am asking that all residents in Zone 2 to please hold your recycling until your next scheduled pick up on Thursday December 2nd, 2021. Residents in Zone 2 will place recyclables out on Wednesday night December 1st for pickup on Thursday December 2nd, 2021. 

We understand that this request for you to hold your recyclables for a week creates an inconvenience to our Zone 2 residents, but due to the closure of the recycling centers for Thanksgiving, we have no other option.  Thank you for your cooperation.  On behalf of Mayor Davis and everyone in the Bayonne Department of Public Works, I want to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving.
