2nd Ward Council Member Jacqueline Weimmer

Second Ward Boundaries:  The Second Ward includes the area from the north side of 16th Street between Newark Bay and Kennedy Boulevard and the north side of 17th Street between Kennedy Boulevard and Constable Hook to and including the south side of 32nd Street.

Jacqueline Weimmer is our 2nd Ward Councilwoman.  She was born and raised in Bayonne and her family’s roots in the community go back over 60 years.

Born of very humble beginnings, she was the youngest of six kids and attended both Lincoln Community School and Holy Family Academy before entering the work force in New York City.

The majority of her professional career has been dedicated to the trust and estate planning needs of individuals with disabilities and has been focused on the intricacies of Special Needs Trust Administration.  Through hard work and dedication, she continued to advance her career in both the legal and finance fields before being appointed as the National Director of Special Needs Solutions at Comerica Bank, where she leads a Team across the Country and serves as both Manager and Mentor to her teammates.

Throughout her life, much of her time both professionally and personally, has been spent making sure that families whose members have varying abilities, get the help they need to prosper in all aspects of their daily life.  It is that sentiment that she hopes to bring with her as a Council Member.

In her free time, Jacqueline is an advocate for abused and neglected children and serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children in the foster care system.

It is her greatest hope to bring her background, expertise and empathetic nature to the residents of the 2nd Ward and the Bayonne Community in general … “We have a wonderful community here in Bayonne and together, we can only make it better!”
