TAKE NOTICE that the City of Bayonne, 630 Avenue C, Bayonne, New Jersey 07002 (hereinafter referred to in this notice and the various submission documents as the “Client/Owner,” “City of Bayonne” and/or “City”) is seeking proposals from Professional Services providers (hereinafter referred to in this notice and the various submission documents as the “respondent,” “provider,” “contractor,” “submitting party,” “applicant,” “vendor,” “service provider,” and/or “professional service provider”) for the following professional services in accordance with the “fair and open” contracting process as defined in the New Jersey Local Unit Pay to Play Law (N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq.):

MANAGED INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES

The City desires to appoint a qualified vendor to provide Managed Information Technology Service to evaluate the state of the City’s current network and equipment and information technology policies and procedures; make recommendations for improvements, modifications and changes; repair, service, and maintain computer system equipment software and operation systems and related peripheral devices; manage VPN and Cyber Security; perform professional work, which includes development, implementation and maintenance of multi-network, multi-user Local Area Networks, (LAN), Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN), Metropolitan Area Networks (MAN, and/or Wide Area Networks (WAN); maintain centralized, decentralized, and remote network services; maintain network security and data integrity; provide consultations and recommendations to the municipal administration as required to troubleshoot and resolve network problems; and, monitor overall performance and conduct upgrades as required and authorized.

At a minimum, the responding firm or entity shall:
1. Have at least five (5) years’ experience providing managed Information Technology services to public entities of similar size and scope to the City of Bayonne.
2. List past and present municipal or government authorities represented.
3. Obtain the solicitation package and complete and return the sealed submission form and enclosures by the due date set forth in this notice.
