AMENDMENT TO REDEVELOPMENT/LAND USE COUNSEL/SPECIAL REDEVELOPMENT LAND USE COUNSEL SERVICES RFP

The “FEE SCHEDULE” for REDEVELOPMENT/LAND USE COUNSEL/SPECIAL REDEVELOPMENT LAND USE COUNSEL is hereby amended as follows:

1. Redevelopment Special Counsel Services based upon a blended hourly rate of $225 for attorneys and $155 for paralegals, where the services are being funded by the City.
2. If a redeveloper agreement or escrow agreement is negotiated pursuant to which the redeveloper will pay the City’s fees and expenses in connection with the negotiation of the agreement and the implementation of the Project, the Firm agrees to a blended hourly rate of $395 per hour for attorneys and $155 for paralegals.
3. For City funded litigation related services, the hourly rate of compensation shall be $250 per hour for attorneys and $155 per hour for paralegals and $295 per hour for attorneys and $155 per hour for paralegals.
4. For all City funded legal services required in connection with complex tax incentives or other similar funding mechanisms, the hourly rate of compensation shall be $300 per hour for partners, $250 per hour for associates and $120 per hour for paralegals.

The “DUE DATE” for REDEVELOPMENT/LAND USE COUNSEL/SPECIAL REDEVELOPMENT LAND USE COUNSEL is hereby amended as follows:

1. AMENDMENT NOTICE POSTED: December 5, 2024
2. DUE DATE: December 16, 2024 @ 10:00 a.m. prevailing time.
3. PUBLIC READING: All proposals/responses will be opened at the City Law Department, Room 15 on December 16, 2024 @ 11:30 a.m. prevailing time.
