RESPONSE TO INQUIRY – POLICE EXTRA DUTY ADMINISTRATION SERVICES

Question: Is it the current policy of the Bayonne Police Department to accept cash payments for extra-duty assignments.  If so, how are cash payments received.

Answer:  The Police Department does not accept cash payments of any type. All scheduling, billing and payments, for Extra-Duty assignments, are conducted by the Police Department’s outside vendor.

Question:  Clarify what is an “on-site” customer service representative.

Answer:  An “on-site” customer service representative must be available at the vendor’s location and on-call twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week.
