The Division of Recreation will host Introduction to Competitive Swimming this summer at the 16th Street Pool!  Lessons will be for Bayonne residents only, boys and girls, in the 6th, 7th and 8th Grade.  (Experienced swimmers recommended.)  Lessons will be taught by Certified USA Swimming Coaches.   Lessons will take place on Tuesdays only, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, weather permitting.  The cost of the program is $25/swimmer.  

Lessons will begin on Tuesday, July 6th and will run for 5 weeks.  Any lesson canceled due to inclement weather will be rescheduled.
"Introduction to competitive swimming will be exciting! We are happy to offer this new program and to give swimmers an opportunity to learn to compete," stated Pete Amadeo, Supervisor of Recreation.
Registration will begin in June, at City Hall, Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
