The Recreation Division will team up once again this spring with the US SPORTS INSTITUTE for, “Parent & Me Multi-Sports Squirts” Program, for AGES 2-3 and “Multi-Sports Squirts” for ages 3 to 5!

The “Parent & Me Multi-Sports” program allows children ages 2-3 to experience a new sport with a helping hand from Mom, Dad or Guardian! Children have the opportunity to try lacrosse, soccer, basketball, t-ball, floor hockey, parachute games and more in a safe and structured environment.  

This is an excellent opportunity for you to spend quality time together while easing your child into social situations with support and confidence, which will enable them to move onto our Multi Sports Squirts classes.

Multi-Sports Squirts allows children to experience a variety of sports throughout the program. Our professional coaches ensure that children are engaged in fun, inclusive activities, in a positive learning environment.

Players will have the opportunity to try Lacrosse, Soccer, T-Ball, & Track & Field. In addition to emphasizing the fundamentals of each sport, each activity is designed to improve hand-eye coordination, balance, agility, and movement. Classes will include a series of fun challenges, structured activities, and scrimmages adapted to ensure everyone achieves success.

As with all Squirts programs, the emphasis is on safety, fun and learning. All sports are presented in a positive and relaxed environment with an emphasis on participation, interaction and communication.

Both programs will run for 8 weeks.

“Parent & Me Multi-Sports” will take place on Tuesdays, from 5:30pm to 6:20pm.

“Multi-Sports Squirts” will take place on Tuesdays, from 4:30pm to 5:20pm or 6:30pm to 7:20pm or Saturdays from 2:00pm to 2:50pm.  

Sessions will take place at 16th Street Park.

The fee for the 8 week program is $135.00 if you register by April 8th, 2021.  After April 8th, the registration fee is $160.00.
