NOTICE, is hereby given that an ordinance entitled,  “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BAYONNE, CHAPTER 33, PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS AND CHAPTER 35, ZONING REGULATIONS “ introduced and passed a first reading at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Bayonne held July 22, 2026, and will be the subject of a public hearing and further consideration at a regular meeting of the City Council to be held WEDNESDAY, August 12, 2026 in the Dorothy E. Harrington Council Chambers, Municipal Building, 630 Avenue C, Bayonne, New Jersey, at 6:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be reached.

At the time and place aforesaid, all persons interested will be given an opportunity to be heard concerning said ordinance.

The purpose of said ordinance:   Defining “Data Centers” and prohibiting Data Centers as a permitted use in all Zoning Districts

A copy of this ordinance have been posted on the bulletin board upon which public notices are customarily posted in the lobby of the Municipal Building of the City of Bayonne, and a copy is available at not charge up to and including the time of such meeting to the members of the general public of the city who shall request one, at the Office of the City Clerk.
