Division of Recreation 16th Street Pool Open Saturday, June 20th & Sunday, June 21st, 2026 weather permitting.  Will open Daily beginning Friday, June 26th, 2026!

We have been busy getting our 16th Street Pool facility ready for the season! Please read below for some helpful information.  

• Saturday, June 20th & Sunday, June 21st
  10:30am to 5:30pm
• The Pool will not be open Monday, June 22nd to Thursday, June 25th. 
• Friday, June 26th
  Last Day of School! We will open at 10:30am and close at 7:00pm! 

Important: Admission into the FACILITY will close at 6:30pm. Those who have already entered the pool must be out of the water at 7:00pm.

Helpful Information: 
FAMILY FRIDAYS! The 16th Street Pool will be open until 7:00pm every Friday in July!

Important:
Beginning on Monday, June 29th and ending August 7th.

The pool will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., to allow City Day Camps access on the following days:

• Monday, 
• Tuesday, 
• Wednesday, and 
• Friday,

The pool will open at 1:00. p.m. and close at 5:30pm.

On Thursdays, the Pool will be open to the Public, 10:30am to 5:30pm.

Operating Hours:

Saturday, August 8th to Monday, September 7th.

The FACILITY will open from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

(Please note: The Division of Recreation conducts youth swim lessons beginning at 6:30pm, Monday through Thursday)  
Important: Admission into the FACILITY will close at 4:30pm. Those who have already entered the pool must be out of the water at 5:00pm.

The FACILITY will open from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Saturdays & Sundays.

Only Bayonne residents are permitted into the pool.

After-hour parties will only be available to BAYONNE non-profit organizations for use. Availability will be limited.

• Private parties are prohibited.
• Birthday Parties: Parties are limited to two hours.
• Party Hours: (Saturday & Sunday Only)
  11:00am to 1:30pm
  2:00pm to 4:30pm

Party Reservation Cost: $125.00.  Includes 2 picnic tables under the picnic area.  

Availability will be limited. You may reserve a time slot by calling the pool at 201-243-1124.

Senior Swim: 

• Mondays, 
• Tuesdays 
• Thursdays
  9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Seniors may stay in the facility during camp hours.  Seniors 62+.  

Daily admission fees for this year.

Children 12 years old and under – $3.00
13-64 years old – $5.00
seniors, age 65 and above -$1.00

There is no time limit once entering the pool.

You must have a City of Bayonne Resident ID, BBOED Issued ID Card, or a Current Driver’s license with Bayonne Address, to enter the facility for the regular admission fee.  Expired Driver’s Licenses’ will not be accepted.
