Polish-Flag-Raising:  Members of Bayonne’s Polish-American community joined public officials for a flag-raising ceremony at City Hall to recognize Polish Constitution Day.  On May 3, 1791, Poland enacted a constitution that enshrined long-held beliefs and practices of religious toleration, acknowledged the necessity of governmental reform, and instituted progressive and democratic justice for all of Poland’s social classes.
