Division of Recreation Summer Camp Registration OPENS Monday, April 6th!!

The Division of Recreation is ready for a great Summer!
 
"Summer 2026 promises to be another memorable experience for our youth. Summer camp will be fun, exciting, and safe!" stated Pete Amadeo, Superintendent of Recreation
 
Please read very detailed, important information below:
 
  • Registration is first come, first serve.
  • Registration will automatically close once a camp reaches the limit of 175 campers.
  • All registration & payments will be done online
  • You must register online. Summer Day Camps - Click Here to Register https://register.capturepoint.com/CityofBayonne  
    When registering make sure to add your child's name to your account. After registering, click on view account. You will then be able to add the child’s name.
  • You do not have to be in the school district to attend camps located at schools. (Washington, Robinson and Mary J. Donohoe.)
  • Camps located in schools are not run by the Board of Education. You cannot register at schools.
  • Camps will begin Monday, June 29th and run through Friday, August 7th. (Please note there is no camp on July 4th)
  • Camp Hours: 9am to 3pm.
  • Ultimate Sports Camp & Arts & Crafts Camp ends at 2pm.
  • Ultimate Sports Camp & Arts & Crafts Camp KINDERGARTEN DIVISION ends at 11:30am.
  • Camp on Monday, June 29th will be an abbreviated session: 9:00am to 12:00pm. Camp on Friday, August 7th will be an abbreviated session: 9:00am to 12:00pm.
  • Grades: 1st through 8th. (Students entering 1st Grade in September are eligible. Students entering 9th Grade in September are eligible.)

Please note there is a maximum number of campers at each camp (175).
Camp Fees for our Main Day Camps: Washington School Camp, Mary J. Donohoe Day Camp, 16th Street Park Camp, Ultimate Sports Camp, Arts & Crafts Camp, Robinson Camp:
 
1st Child: $275.00
2nd Child: $205.00
3rd Child: FREE
4th Child: FREE
 
  • Some trips INCLUDE lunch.
  • The Division of Recreation DOES NOT provide breakfast, snacks or lunch.
  • There is NO before care or after care.
  • Registration Fee includes CAMPER T-SHIRT.
  • Registration Fee is a one-time fee for the six weeks of camp.
*** The Costs of Field Trips ARE NOT INCLUDED in the registration fee. Please see below for a breakdown of cost of trips per camp.
  • The City DOES offer family discounts. IMPORTANT: Family discounts ONLY apply to immediate family: brother/sister. Cousins are not included in family discounts.
  • Payment for trips is due the day of the field trip, not at registration and not in advance.
  • Important: The Division of Recreation will not issue registration refunds after June 5th.  
**Please note: Trips/Dates are subject to change.
 
Regarding inclement weather for our outdoor camps, we will always look to hold camp. The Division of Recreation monitors the weather daily and will make the appropriate accommodation to keep camp on schedule. We understand the importance of day camp for children and families and will continuously work hard to keep camp on. There may be certain circumstances out of our control where we would need to cancel camp.
 
  • Camp will not stay on site while camp is on field trip.
  • Registration Fees will not be pro-rated.
  • Buses will be provided for each trip.
  • Pool days will be at 16th Street Pool.
