Ribbon-Cutting for Expansion of Mandelbaum Barrett PC Law Firm to Bayonne

She is now a partner in that firm, which now has a presence in Hudson County at its new Bayonne location, the longtime Hockstein office at 660 Broadway. On October 15, 2025 representatives of the Mandelbaum Barrett PC law firm and City officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the firm’s expansion to Bayonne. Bayonne real estate attorney Linda J. Hockstein has merged her practice with the firm and is now a partner in Mandelbaum Barrett PC. Founded in Newark in1930, the firm is headquartered in Roseland, N.J., and has offices in New Jersey, New York, Florida, and Colorado. Mandelbaum Barrett describes itself as having “a full-service approach to legal services.” Among the firm’s numerous practice areas are Real Estate, Land Use/Zoning, Trusts & Wills, Elder Law, Family Law, Personal Injury and Special Needs. Mayor Jimmy Davis said, “I would like to congratulate Linda Hockstein and to welcome Mandelbaum Barrett to Bayonne. The firm’s decision to expand its operations to Bayonne is a sign of our community’s growing importance in the regional economy.”
Linda J. Hockstein is the fourth generation of her family to work in Bayonne. Her great-grandfather, Joseph Hockstein, built the DeWitt Theater, which stood for five decades at 25th Street and Broadway. Her grandfather, Ben Hockstein, founded an insurance agency, which her father, Donald Hockstein, continued at 660 Broadway, the site of today’s law office.
