NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE EVALUATION REPORT FOR PROGRAM YEAR 2024 CITY OF BAYONNE

In accordance with Title I of the National Affordable Housing Act of 1990, P.L. 101-624, and the regulations 24 CFR Part 91.250, the City of Bayonne hereby gives notice that it has completed its draft Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) for its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for the period covering July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. This report contains information including: 1) Summary of the resources and accomplishments, 2) Status of actions taken during the year to implement the goals outlined in the Consolidated Plan, and 3) Evaluation of the progress made during the year in addressing identified priority needs and objectives.

Interested residents are invited to examine this report and comment on its contents prior to submission of the report to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. This report will be available for review at Bayonne City Hall, 630 Avenue C, Bayonne and on the City’s website: http://www.bayonnenj.org The public review period is from September 10, 2025 through September 25, 2025, for a period of no less than 15 days.

The City will also hold a public hearing for residents desiring to comment on the CAPER report. The hearing will be held September 24, 2025 at 12pm in City Council Chambers, Bayonne City Hall, 630 Avenue C. Citizens are invited to submit written or verbal comments at the hearing. Written comments will be accepted on the City’s CAPER and can be addressed Samantha Howard at Bayonne City Hall, 630 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ 07002 or CDBG@baynj.org and must be received before 4:30 pm September 25, 2025.
The City intends to submit its report to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on or about September 26, 2025.

This notice is issued in accordance with the CDBG regulations.
