The 2025 Bayonne Hometown Fair will take place on Saturday, June 7. The fair will be running from 21st Street to 26th Street along Broadway.  On Saturday, June 7, the fair’s hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The fair will feature food, rides, vendors, and musical entertainment.  All bounce houses and mechanical rides (new) will be free this year.  A rock wall for climbing will be new to the fair this year.

Mayor Jimmy Davis said, “The Bayonne Heritage Association, other local organizations, businesses, entertainers, and volunteers are working to make sure that the 2025 fair is a fun and successful event.”

The fair will be presented by the Bayonne Heritage Association in collaboration with the City of Bayonne, and Mayor Jimmy Davis. The Bayonne Heritage Association was established in 2024 as a non-profit organization with the goal of sponsoring fairs, parades, and other special community events.

The main stage for the fair will be set up on East 23rd Street by Church Lane.  A second performance space, the community stage, will be set up on the East side of Broadway between 22nd and 23rd Streets. A variety of musicians and other entertainers will perform at both stages.

Here is the schedule for the main stage on East 23rd Street: Opening Ceremony, 11:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m.; Doc Watson and Ambrosia, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; Break Time (the band), 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.; Jive Stock, 2:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.; South End, 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.; and She Said No, 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.

Several family-friendly entertainers will perform at the community stage on Broadway between 22nd and 23rd Streets.

Eighty-four vendors and organizations will take part in the fair, with tables along Broadway from 21st Street to 25th Street. The tables will feature food, merchandise, information about community organizations, and give-aways of various promotional items.

The Knights of Columbus will operate a beer garden at the fair. It will be located on East 23rd Street in front of the main performance stage.

The Bayonne Heritage Association would like to thank the event’s numerous sponsors for their support. The generosity of the sponsors makes the fair possible.

There is no rain date for the fair. In the event of rain, every effort will be made to continue or resume the fair on the scheduled day, as circumstances may permit.

The Hudson-Bergen Light Rail station closest to the fair is located at 22nd Street and Avenue E. Mayor Davis said, “I urge our friends from neighboring communities to take advantage of the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail system to come to the fair and enjoy what Bayonne has to offer.”

No Parking signs will be posted as needed around the Broadway corridor to create space for the fair from 21st Street to 26th Street.  On Saturday, June 7, that portion of Broadway will be closed to traffic from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
