Starting Monday, June 23, 2025, the Bayonne Bridge’s shared-use path will be closed most overnights.

Scope of Work:

These overnight closures will provide for the rehabilitation of the concrete deck of the shared-use-path at the New York and New Jersey approaches of the Bayonne Bridge and the installation of pedestrian and bicycle pavement markings across the entire length of the shared-use-path. This work is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.

Closure Schedule:

• Monday nights: 10:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.
• Tuesday nights: 10:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.
• Wednesday nights: 10:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.
• Thursday nights: 10:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.
• Friday nights: 11:59 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.
• Saturday nights: No scheduled closure
• Sunday nights: No scheduled closure

Signage will be posted on either side of the shared-use path to notify pedestrians and cyclists of the overnight closures.
