I was sad to learn about the passing of Steve Zazenski.  A great landscape painter, Steve grew up in Bayonne, which inspired much of his art.  Numerous current and former residents have prints of his paintings of Double Hill, the old 8th Street Station, Uncle Miltie’s, and other Bayonne locations.  Steve had great pride in his Bayonne roots, and was a member and supporter of the Bayonne Historical Society.  We would like to extend our condolences to his family and friends.  Steve’s art will be a great legacy that will be enjoyed by generations to come.
