Division of Recreation Special Needs Sports Program to Introduce the Puzzle Club!
Posted January 02, 2025🧩 The Special Needs Puzzle Club will meet on the 1st Sunday of each Month, at 12:00pm, at the Bayonne Museum, beginning on Sunday, February 2nd.
🧩 At each meeting, participants will have the opportunity to assemble and complete various size puzzles. Puzzles of 12, 36, 48 and 60 pieces will be available to put together. There will be several puzzles of each size available for greater participation.
🧩 Jigsaw puzzles can be a fun and enjoyable form of entertainment that provide several benefits, including relaxation, brain stimulation, and social interaction. Putting together a puzzle is a great mental exercise that helps with focus, short-term memory, and solving problems. Engaging in mental activities like jigsaw puzzles can boost memory and spatial awareness.
🧩 The Division of Recreation is also looking for donations of puzzles for the club. Puzzles must be in good condition with all the pieces. Donations can be brought to the Division of Recreation, located in City Hall Room #13, Monday through Friday, between 9am and 4pm or the day of the Club.
✅ There is no fee to participate.
