Ribbon-cutting at Adour Bistro in Bayonne: City officials joined the staff of Adour Bistro for a ribbon-cutting to celebrate the opening of the restaurant at 715 Broadway.  The new eatery is an American bistro with French and Italian influences.  The menu includes a variety of items that range from burgers and steak to branzino, chicken Stroganoff pot pie,  mussels with fries, and eggplant.  The bistro is named after the Adour River, which flows around Bayonne, France.  The drinks list includes wine from Bayonne, France.  Future plans include featuring jambon, the style of ham from Bayonne, France.  The restaurant’s website is adourbistro.com.  The eatery is in Bayonne’s Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ).  Pictured left to right: City Council Member At-Large Juan Perez, City Council President Gary LaPelusa, Mayor Jimmy Davis, bistro business partner George Tsopelas, Tania Kondrashov, chef and bistro business partner Andrei Kondrashov, City Council Member At-Large Loyad Booker, Bayonne Chamber of Commerce representative Alicyn Perry, and First Ward City Council Member Neil Carroll III.
