CITY OF BAYONNE NOTICE ABOUT WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19, 2024

The City of Bayonne will be open for business on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

The City of Bayonne’s regulations for parking zones, parking meters, pay stations, and street-sweeping  will be in effect AND enforced on Wednesday, June 19.  Those regulations will be suspended on Friday, June 21 when the State of New Jersey and the City of Bayonne will observe the Juneteenth holiday.

City Hall civilian offices and Municipal Court: Closed on Friday, June 21.

Public Library: Closed on Friday, June 21.

Recycling Drop-Off site: Closed on Friday, June 21.

Garbage Pick-Ups on Friday, June 21: Regular pick-up schedule is in effect. Pick-ups will take place in Zone 3 (from 32nd Street to the City Line) on Friday, June 21.

Enforcement of parking meters and parking lot pay stations: Suspended on Friday, June 21.

Street-sweeping, alternate side parking, and permit parking enforcement: Suspended on Friday, June 21.

***The State of New Jersey recognizes the third Friday in June as the Juneteenth holiday.  The City of Bayonne is following state law.  Therefore, parking zone, parking meter, pay station, and street-sweeping regulations will be suspended on Friday, June 21.  They will be in effect AND enforced on Wednesday, June 19.
