New 25th Street Pedestrian Bridge Will Be Installed on Saturday, April 13
Posted April 11, 2024On Saturday, April 13, 2024, Grade Construction will lift and place the new 25th Street Pedestrian Bridge over the Conrail/Hudson-Bergen Light Rail railroad right-of way. The new bridge will reconnect Prospect Avenue and Avenue E at 25th Street, providing a pedestrian crossing over the rail lines after additional construction takes place.
Grade Construction will have one crane on Avenue E and another on Prospect Avenue. Seven truck/trailers will be on site.
Road closures for the purpose of creating a Work/Security Zone closure will begin at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13. Work is expected to be completed that day no later than 6:00 p.m.
