City officials joined representatives of Bayonne’s Polish community for a flag-raising ceremony.  The event honored the Polish constitution that was adopted on May 3, 1791.  That document promised greater freedom and political equality. 

Among those in the photo are Chris Piechocki, Marshal of the Bayonne contingent of the 2023 Pulaski Parade, past Marshal Rick Dworzanski, Bayonne Pulaski Memorial Committee Chairman Rich Romelczyk, Mayor Jimmy Davis, City Council President Gary LaPelusa, Second Ward Council Member Loyad Booker, and First Ward Council Member Neil Carroll.  The group also includes students from the Wladyslaw Reymont Polish School and members of the New Polish Circle.
