We have received some amazing entries so far for our Rec Mascot! Make sure to get your mascot in by March 15th

The Division of Recreation is looking for the perfect Rec Mascot!

 The time has come for the Division of Recreation to introduce a mascot, but we need assistance! We are turning to the youth of Bayonne to help get us going!

 We need ideas, we need drawings, we need mascot names!

 Our goal is to design a mascot that symbolizes the Division of Recreation, our Bayonne community, our values, and to promote Bayonne Rec spirit and pride.

 Mascot concepts should include the name of the mascot, basic design elements and the description of the mascot.

 We ask the mascot ideas are not those of Bayonne Elementary School Mascots or of Bayonne High School.

 Any student interested in submitting a Mascot can do so by emailing BAYONNEREC@AOL.COM with a drawing, idea, description.

 We will work together through the entire process!

 Concepts can also be hand delivered to the Division of Recreation, located in City Hall Room #13, Monday through Friday, between 9:00am and 4:00pm.

 Open to ages 18 & under.

 Custom Mascot costumes can take approximately 12-16 weeks to produce.

 The deadline to submit a Mascot concept is Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

 The Division of Recreation will announce and unveil the Mascot this summer! Our Rec Mascot will be present at all Rec programs, activities and more!
