The Division of Recreation is excited to announce a fabulous new partnership with the Papermill Playhouse, for a great program called “Theatre for Everyone.”

“Theatre for Everyone” is funded by grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and Merck. The National Endowment for the Arts is an independent federal agency that funds, promotes, and strengthens the creative capacity of our communities by providing all Americans with diverse opportunities for arts participation.

• The program will meet every Tuesday, from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, at the Bayonne Museum.
• The program will be led by Molly M. Merendino.
• The program will begin December 6th.
• The program is open to Bayonne residents only, ages 10 and older.
• There is no cost to participate.
• The program consists of numerous 4-week sessions of 20 students.
• The program will begin in December and run through June.

Papermill Playhouse has also reserved 80 tickets for Special Needs-Friendly Performances at Papermill Playhouse.

The Division of Recreation will provide transportation to each show.

• The Lightning Thief” on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at 10:00am.
• The Sound of Music” on Thursday, December 30, 2022, at 1:30pm.
• Disney’s Hercules” on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 1:30pm.
• The Magic School Bus: Lost in the Solar System” on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 10:00am
