Two Films, Memory and Encanto, Showing at Bayonne Library on August 3

The Bayonne Free Public Library will present two films on Wednesday, August 3, in its summer movie series.
At 1:00 p.m. on that date, the library will screen Memory, an action thriller. The plot revolves around an aging hitman who has early onset dementia. He must go on the run after declining a contract killing of a young girl. The film stars Liam Neeson, Guy Pearce, Monica Bellucci, Taj Atwal, Ray Fearon, and Harold Torres. This film is rated R. It has a running time of 1 hour 54 minutes. No children will be admitted to this film, due to the R rating.
At 6:30 p.m. on August 3, the library will present Encanto, a computer-animated musical fantasy comedy. This movie tells the story of a multi-generational Colombian family that receives magical gifts from a miracle that helps them serve their community. The film features the voices of Stephanie Beatriz, Maria Cecilia Botero, John Leguizamo, Mauro Castillo, and Jessica Darrow, among others. This movie is rated PG. It has a running time of 1 hour 42 minutes.
Both films will be shown in the O’Connor Gallery on the library’s second floor. The library is located at 31st Street and Avenue C.
