TV Mini-Series to be Filmed in Bayonne During June & July

Posted June 21, 2022

This week in Bayonne, GHB Productions will begin production of Girl Haunts Boy, the story of a teenager named Cole, who, after his father’s untimely death, moves to a new town, only to find that his new home is haunted by Bea.  She is the fun-loving, adventurous ghost of a teenage girl from the 1920’s.  The two strike up an unlikely friendship that will ultimately teach Cole more than he ever imagined about love, grief, and what it really means to be alive.

All production will occur in and on properties owned by the Bayonne Board of Education (BBOE), both the Bayonne High School complex and the former St. Andrew’s School gym.

Beginning Thursday, June 23, filming will begin and operations are expected to occur through Friday, July 22, 2022. Operational hours will be from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, excluding weekends.

The entirety of the Bayonne High School complex and the former St. Andrew’s School gym will be available to the production company. All production and filming is expected to be contained to Board of Education property.  Additional locations off site are being explored should the need arise.

'No Parking' signs will be posted for the staging of support vehicles and to keep 'in scene' areas clear during shooting. The procurement, posting, maintenance, and removal of all 'No Parking' signs is the responsibility of GHB Productions.

There will be no weapons of any type, special effects, or excessive noise generated at any time during the production.
