Letter Carriers to Hold Food Drive in Bayonne on Saturday, May 14
Posted May 09, 2022Local 38 of the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) has advised the City of Bayonne that the union’s nationwide food drive will take place in Bayonne and across America on Saturday, May 14. The drive will collect canned goods and other non-perishable foods. Collected items will be distributed to organizations that help people in need.
Residents who would like to take part in the drive should leave non-perishable food in a bag by their mail boxes early on Saturday, May 14. The food will be picked up either by letter carriers as they make their mail deliveries or by mail trucks later in the day.
