Available jobs include working as a camp counselor at the various Recreation summer day camps and a pool attendant or lifeguard at the Thomas DiDomenico Municipal Pool at 16th Street Park.
(Lifeguards must be currently certified.)

Applicants must currently be in at least their Freshman Year of High School to apply. College students may apply. Students currently in 8th grade are ineligible to apply.
All applicants must be Bayonne residents.
Applications are available and must be returned at the front entrance at City Hall, Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm. Applications are not available online.
Working Papers will not be accepted with the application. Applications only.

Exempt from the statutory minimum wage rate: minors under the age of 18; employees at summer camps operated by any nonprofit (City of Bayonne.)
Employees at summer camps are exempt from minimum and overtime rates during the months of June, July, August and September. – The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. NJ Sate Wage and Hour Law Abstract N.J.S.A. 34:11-56a et. Seq.
