Working together, hudson County, Jersey City, and Bayonne started the Bayonne/Greenville/Journal Square Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Study to improve bus service between Bayonne and Journal Square. The purpose of the study is to explore ways to enhance public transportation opportunities for daily commuters.

the study team will be holding a public meeting to provide an opportunity for the public to learn about BRT, transit technologies, and the study results, as well as the chance to provide input on the evaluation of potential routes for a BRT service.

Holy Family Academy of Bayonne announced that it will hold a “Thanks for the Memories HFA” fundraiser on Saturday, June 15, from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the school, 239 Avenue A, Bayonne. The event will help to offset the school’s last expenses. Join alumnae, alumni, family, and friends for a fundraiser to celebrate and benefit HFA one last time.
Tickets for the event cost $50 each. The admission price includes food, soda, beer, wine, live entertainment, and a trip down memory lane. The day’s events include a 50/50 to be raffled every hour. There will also be a super 50/50 at 10:00 p.m. There will be sales of HFA apparel while supplies last. Orders can be placed. From 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., HFA will also have a silent (sealed) auction for trophies, plaques, team and class photos, yearbooks, and student and local artwork. Winners of the auction will be announced at 9:00 p.m.
