The Child Health Clinic, located at Bayonne Hospital, provides the following services by appointment to any resident of Bayonne:

  • Well Baby Care
  • Immunizations (DPT, Mantoux, MMR, Polio, TD Booster, HIB, Varicella, Pneumococcal)
  • Limited Dental Care

Communicable Disease Surveillance

  • Botulism
  • Hepatitis
  • Lyme
  • Meningitis
  • Measles
  • Pertussis (whooping cough)
  • Poliomyelitis
  • Rabies
  • Salmonella
  • Shigellosis
  • Syphilis (Sexually Transmitted Disease)

Dental Health

Limited dental care is available to school age children of Bayonne at the Bayonne Medical Center Clinic. Parents must contact the school nurse, who will schedule the appointment.

Food Surveillance

  • Investigates food establishments to maintain compliance with state and local ordinances
  • Conducts a mandatory six-hour Food Service Manager’s Certification Course for supervisory personnel in food establishments
