Can You Ever Forgive Me? (rated R) is a biographical film based on the book of the same name by forger Lee Israel. Starring Melissa McCarthy and Richard E. Grant in Academy Award-nominated roles as Israel and drug dealer Jack Hock, respectively, the movie follows Israel as she forges letters from dead authors and playwrights as a way to enhance her failing writing career.
